Management systems are therefore complex as they should contain all the components necessary to cover all issues in the management of a site or area. But we always stress: It should be applicable to your organisational needs and take into account your operations.

The Management System “Framework” documentation with the supporting forms and tools documentation require in alignment with the general structure of the following published standards:

  • ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems;
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems;

METHODOLOGY

Following completion of the Assessment of Needs, develop the identified Management System “Framework” documentation with the supporting forms, and tools which shall include:

Management System Manual

The Management System Manual provides direction and guidance for the effective continual implementation of the Management System and defines the overall structure, policies, procedures on all Work Health and Safety (WHS), Quality and Environmental and operational management issues.

Management System Policy Statements

Essential Management System Policies act as a compass by providing the direction and framework for establishing key corporate level performance measures and related improvement objectives and targets.

Human Resources Manual

The purpose of the Human Resources Manual is to outline the procedures and requirements necessary to ensure the provision of human resources necessary for the effective implementation of the Management System, for the business operations and control of its processes.

Management System Procedures

Are a series of documents that cover specific management issues for each element of the Management System and provide an integrated, uniform, enterprise-wide application of Work Health and Safety (WHS), Environmental, Quality and Operational Management. Each procedure clearly identifies and assigns the responsibilities and authorities for these processes.

Forms and Templates

Tools developed to be used to record and support the program and procedures. The forms have been developed as generic forms that can be used, and templates are files that serves as a starting point for a new document which is pre-formatted. Note: Applicable existing organisational forms shall be adopted.

A Draft Implementation Plan

for a programmed rollout of new processes across targeted business areas shall be developed. This is where we can assist in conducting as required the necessary program implementation activities and deliver relevant information and training to all stakeholders.

A formal presentation of the Management System

can be conducted to the senior management as an overview of the documentation. A session such as this, allows for questions, concerns, comments, or further recommendations to be addressed. At that time, the Implementation Plan can be discussed, indicating action, personnel responsible and expected completion dates.
