Position
This role requires a driven and proactive workers' compensation specialist, you will be driving results, and strategies in managing relationships from stakeholders to injured employees, insurers and brokers. You will provide data, feedback and insight to the senior leadership team, ensuring good RTW outcomes and ultimately minimising risks and costs with associated workplace injuries.

Role duties:

  • Oversee claims from lodgement to closure, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with state-specific regulations (WorkSafe VIC, SIRA NSW, WorkCover QLD).
  • Liaise with employees, insurers, medical providers, and legal reps to facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Develop and manage return-to-work programs, supporting injured employees with clear guidance.
  • Maintain secure records, prepare statutory reports, and assist with audits.
  • Support injury prevention and risk mitigation initiatives, delivering training to employees and supervisors.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports, maintaining accurate records in line with privacy and data protection laws.
  • Assist with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews, keeping policies aligned with legislative updates.
  • Work closely with leadership to foster a supportive workplace culture around injury management.
  • Analyse injury trends and recommend proactive strategies to reduce workplace risks.
You will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • RTW coordinator certificate
  • Certifications/ Training in Workers' Compensation or Injury Management are advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing workers compensation claims
  • In-depth knowledge of workers compensation laws & regulations
