We are currently partnering with a range of reputable civil and built environment contractors to recruit experienced Health and Safety professionals for major construction projects across Australia. These opportunities span infrastructure, commercial, and steel-structure developments.
The Opportunity
As an WHS Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained on site.
Key Responsibilities:
May include but not limited to:
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits
- Monitor compliance of plant, equipment, and PPE
- Deliver toolbox talks and WHS inductions
- Provide coaching and support to operational teams
- Assist in incident investigations and reporting
- Liaise with site management and subcontractors on safety matters
To be successful in these roles, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in HSE roles across civil or built construction environments
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and construction compliance standards
- Confidence working in high-risk environments (e.g. heights, confined spaces – tickets highly regarded)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant WHS qualifications (minimum Cert IV in WHS)
- Competitive daily rates based on experience
- Monday to Friday rosters (with occasional Saturdays depending on project requirements)
- Work on some of Sydney's largest construction projects
