This position will suit a hands-on HSEQ leader who can quickly embed themselves within the organisation, guide leaders on regulatory obligations, and drive safety performance and continuous improvement.
The Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading the HSEQ function and partnering closely with operational teams to ensure strong safety governance and effective risk management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary HSEQ advisor to operational leadership and key stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with relevant HSEQ legislation, policies and management systems
- Overseeing risk assessments and implementation of preventative controls
- Driving incident reporting, investigation and corrective actions
- Embedding a strong safety culture and behavioural improvement programs
- Monitoring and reporting HSE performance against organisational KPIs
- Supporting continuous improvement through learning, training and best practice sharing
HSE Manager
- Proven experience in a senior HSEQ leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and compliance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influencing senior leadership teams
- A track record of driving safety culture and organisational change
- Strong capability in risk management, incident management and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills
