About the role
As the HSE Coordinator, you will partner closely with the project leadership team to embed a strong safety culture and support the delivery of best-practice safety outcomes across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project leadership in driving a proactive safety culture
- Assist in the implementation and review of HSE and Safety Management Plans
- Manage early intervention and end-to-end injury management, including workers’ compensation claims
- Conduct incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain HSE documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare and deliver statistical reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety
- Experience in injury management and return-to-work processes
- Background in a similar EHS role, ideally within rail, construction, heavy industry, or other high-risk environments
- Strong initiative, resilience, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Solid understanding of safety systems, legislation, and compliance requirements
