The Role
This is a short-term contract opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support live construction projects. You will work closely with project teams and contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, driving best practice, and supporting a positive safety culture across all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support and guide project teams on WHS compliance and safe work practices
- Assist with incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions
- Provide toolbox talks, training, and on-site safety advice
- Monitor contractor management processes and ensure alignment with project requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in health and safety performance
- Prepare reports and communicate outcomes to project leadership
You are a proactive and reliable H&S professional with experience across built construction projects. Skilled at engaging with both site teams and senior stakeholders, you have a strong knowledge of WHS legislation and a track record of promoting safe work practices. You display a cooperative and approachable manner, supporting project delivery through practical and effective safety management.
