Position 
Play a key role in driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSE and Dangerous Goods standards. You’ll help shape a safer, more responsible future for one of the world’s most respected logistics companies.
This position will be responsible for managing multiple sites based in the Sydney metro areas.

Our client is seeking someone who can bring experience implementing safety initiatives within high-risk environments, who is collaborative but enjoys being hands on and can take a proactive approach. Strong stakeholder management, clear communication and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels would be ideal. They want someone who is passionate about promoting a safe working culture but brings resilience and keen to implement change. Transport/logistics experience would be highly desirable.   

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent. 
• Ideal experience managing HSE in transport or logistics.
• Dangerous Goods experience is desirable but not essential 
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills with exposure to dealing with unionised environments.
• Ability to implement and lead HSE procedures and systems (ISO 45001 & 14001), as well as investigations, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident reviews.
• Experience in self-insurance environments and ICAM methodology highly desirable.
• Ideal experience managing safety within high-risk and fast-paced environments.
