My client has been going from strength to strength, building their tight knit group of HSEQ consultants.
They are now seeking a Senior GRC Consultant specialising in build construction HSEQ to join their steadily growing consulting team.
This role can be mostly worked from home, with some need to report into the office where project needs require and when company meetings occur. This will be ad hoc around 30% of the time, 70% in the North West Sydney office.
The successful candidate will likely be at Senior HSE Advisor or HSEQ Manager level and ideally have previous consulting experience within the construction industry.
A key part of the role will be working with clients to develop, implement, and audit integrated management systems that meet certification and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSEQ management systems aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and the OFSC Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme.
- Conduct internal audits and site safety inspections across construction operations.
- Facilitate workshops with construction clients to map processes, identify gaps, and design compliant management systems.
- Develop tailored HSEQ strategies and improvement plans.
- Provide ongoing advisory support to clients pursuing or maintaining certifications.
- Extensive experience and senior, lead or ideally management level in HSEQ within the construction industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Quality, Environmental Management, Engineering, or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and the OFSC scheme.
- Proven experience implementing or uplifting integrated management systems for construction businesses.
- Hands-on site audit and inspection experience on active construction sites.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and report writing skills.
