Fraser Coast Regional Coast has partnered with Zenergy to undertake the search for the Safety & Wellbeing Manager position.
Position
Lead the council's safety, wellbeing, injury management and rehabilitation functions.
Driving a proactive safety culture, effective risk management, legislative compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation. Working with customers and stakeholders across the 5 pillars of the business to implement a robust HSEQ process. Part of this role will be to facilitate the areas involvement in the 2032 Olympics. Lead and continuously improve Council's safety, wellbeing, injury management and rehabilitation frameworks, ensuring legislative compliance and contemporary best practice.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives that reduce workplace risks and injuries and improve workforce health, safety, wellbeing and performance. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Safety and Wellbeing team, building organisational capability through education, training and mentoring.
