You will work with the business to develop strategies and programs to mitigate safety risks and improve employee wellbeing with a diverse workforce.
Position
You will be the SME in the business and will be involved in influencing safety by building relationships, coaching employees, as well as developing and implementing frameworks and procedures and policies to improve and promote a positive culture across safety and wellbeing. This role will also be managing return-to-work processes as well as conduct audits and incident investigations in compliant with the legislations.

Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a safety role, managing health, safety, environment within a complex organisation, implementing systems, driving HSE strategies, risk reduction as well as initiating wellbeing programs
- Ability to problem solve, use judgement, and make appropriate decisions.
- Ideal experience in Return-To-Work, and be able to manage the process for injured employees.
- Demonstrated change management skills through the use of systems improvement and engaging with stakeholders.
- Preferable experience working within aged care or education
- Hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days in the office.
- Must be living within Sydney, NSW with full working rights in Australia.
