Position
As the HSE Advisor, you will be required to step into this role and build relationships, while coaching operational leaders and staff on the ground to uplift the capability across health and safety. You will be involved in driving a proactive safety culture on a single site and will be responsible for continuous improvements across HSE.
Our client is seeking someone who brings autonomy and industry experience working within a high-risk environment. You must have a proactive approach to solving problems including managing critical risks but also bring experience managing ISO accreditations and return-to-work in compliance with the Australian legislations.
Requirements
You must obtain the below to be considered:
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent.
- A practical approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements in safety and chain of responsibility.
- Ability to adapt and engage with a diverse workforce.
- Preferable experience managing HSE on-site within manufacturing or a blue collar, high-risk, heavy industry environment.
- Have knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 and be able to maintain ISO accreditations.
- Ideal experience conducting internal audits and managing Return-To-Work processes.
- On-site based role located in Western Sydney, 5 days a week with flexible options.
- Must be Australian based with full working rights.
