​ I am partnered with an Australian construction company specialising in civil engineering and infrastructure projects across various sectors, including transport, rail, utilities & energy.  With a global presence, they remain committed to sustainability, innovation, and fostering collaborative partnerships to create enduring legacies in the communities they serve. They are seeking two Safety Advisors to be based on projects in Western Sydney and Southwest Sydney.

Role:

• Champion the development and execution of safety, environmental, and quality standards to ensure full compliance with regulatory and due diligence requirements.
• Provide expert guidance to construction and estimating teams on safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
• Serve as a key point of contact for all safety, environmental, and quality-related inquiries.
• Conduct comprehensive audits and inspections to assess compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Analyse audit and inspection findings to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management, offering insights and recommendations.
• Facilitate training and educational initiatives to enhance staff proficiency in safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
• Develop critical project documentation, including work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans.
• Lead the development and implementation of system improvements to drive operational excellence.

• You will have experience with construction, utilities and or civil infrastructure projects
• 3-5 years of experience within infrastructure projects
• The ability to influence project managers and employees to achieve HSEQ excellence
• Excellent communication skills & relationship building comes naturally
• Certificate IV in WHS minimum, Diploma is highly desirable
