We have partnered with a boutique Work Health & Safety Consultancy, delivering a range of HSEQ services across different industries. This is a senior, hands-on consulting role for an experienced health and safety professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and being a trusted advisor to clients. You’ll lead complex safety engagements, mentor a developing consulting team, and play a key role in shaping high-quality service delivery across a diverse client base.
Role Requirements
- Lead and deliver end-to-end WHS consulting projects across construction, government, SME and trade-based clients
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships, acting as a senior advisor on WHS, psychosocial risk and safety systems
- Coach, mentor and provide technical supervision to a small team of consultants, lifting capability and confidence
- Develop proposals, quotes and tenders, contributing to business growth and key account management
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of client deliverables and lead multi-consultant projects where required
- Degree, Advanced Diploma or postgraduate qualification in WHS or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in health and safety, including at least 3 years in a consulting environment
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice, with Lead Auditor (ISO 45001) certification
- Proven experience managing complex client relationships, writing proposals and delivering client-facing consulting work
- Dynamic, adaptable professional who enjoys variety, travel and working in a fast-moving, relationship-driven environment
