The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of WHS & Wellbeing, you will strategically and operationally manage safety for the business with a solution and systems focused approach working alongside the broader team. This is a leadership role where you will influence a strong culture across line managers and supervisors driving the changes and implementation of efficient systems, training and reporting. The purpose of this role is to embed change and progressive initiatives through upgrading the systems. The Safety Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the entire business.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in health & safety or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A practical approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements.
- The ability to drive change and performance to initiate and develop solutions to complex issues.
- Ability to problem solve, use judgement and make appropriate decisions.
- Demonstrated ability improving systems and reporting.
- The capacity to quickly learn the business and become effective sooner rather than later.
- Flexible working, global organisation.
