Role Requirements
- Support HSSEQ compliance, site inspections, risk assessments, and assurance programs across VIC sites.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and coach teams in effective incident management.
- Partner with site leadership to deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate on integration of acquired businesses, standardising HSSE processes and systems.
- Collect, analyse, and report HSSEQ data to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in HSSE roles within logistics, transport, or warehousing environments.
- Strong knowledge of WHS, environmental, and transport safety legislation, including Chain of Responsibility.
- Experience supporting ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 28000 management systems (preferred).
- Proven ability to influence operational leaders, challenge unsafe practices, and drive cultural change.
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline; ICAM training desirable.
