Join a large, complex organisation operating across multiple business lines within a high-risk, regulated environment. This role is responsible for building, embedding and assuring a robust, enterprise-wide HSEQ management system aligned to ISO standards. Working closely with operational leaders and corporate teams, you will lead system development, certification and continuous improvement to support safe, compliant and sustainable operations across the business.
The Role
- Design, implement and maintain an integrated HSEQ management system aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, within a unified framework.
- Lead external certification audits and manage compliance activities, including audit planning, execution and close-out of findings.
- Develop and deliver internal audit and assurance programs to verify system effectiveness across multiple business units.
- Partner with operational leaders to embed HSEQ systems into day-to-day activities across diverse operational environments.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring system performance, regulatory changes and industry best practice.
- Degree qualification in safety, environment or a related discipline with extensive experience in quality or HSEQ systems management.
- Proven track record building and maintaining integrated ISO-accredited management systems in complex, multi-site organisations.
- Strong expertise in ISO standards, audit frameworks and certification processes, with the ability to lead audits end-to-end.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills at senior and operational levels.
- Highly organised, analytical and detail-focused, with a proactive approach to system improvement and change leadership.
