Position
As the HSEQ Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting safety, quality, and environmental compliance across multiple operational business units.
This is a hands-on, site-focused role and will be require building relationships with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Frontline teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with safety management systems, ISO standards, in a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, conducting audits and inspections, supporting risk management activities, and coaching leaders across the business.
Regular travel will be required across NSW (including the Hunter Valley area and regional sites), with occasional interstate travel. Flexibility is needed to support weekend work when required, with time in lieu provided.
This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a broader advisory-style position with strong exposure to operations and leadership.

Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Rail industry experience highly desirable (or exposure to high-risk, heavy industry environments such as construction, transport, or infrastructure).
- Experience supporting multiple or geographically dispersed sites to uplift HSEQ capability.
- Demonstrated experience in auditing, inspections, and compliance activities with a strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management, and safety management systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach and build relationships across a diverse workforce from frontline teams to senior leadership.
- Practical understanding of heavy plant and equipment operations.
- Strong administrative and systems capability and ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and be willing to travel regularly.
