This tier 2 construction company has a large presence nationally. Having grown massively in the last 4 years in Brisbane and with close to half a billion dollars of work in the pipeline. Projects include BTR developments, refurbishments, commercial fit-outs, and high-profile new builds.
The Role
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading HSEQ practices across multiple projects valued between $20M–$100M. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role where you’ll:
- Manage and oversee site HSEQ activities, including SWMS review, safety walks, toolbox talks, and compliance documentation.
- Build strong relationships with project managers, subcontractors, and your team to ensure safety is integrated across all operations.
- Participate in project meetings, pre-starts, and site inductions, making executive decisions confidently when required.
- Experience with mid-rise new build, refurbishment, façade, or remediation projects.
- Proven track record within a Tier 2 construction environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence teams across multiple projects.
- A flexible, solution-focused approach—able to adapt when unexpected challenges arise.
- 3–4 years’ experience in a coordinator or similar HSEQ role
