The Role

This is not a transactional safety position. This is a high-accountability Safety Business Partner role embedded within a major 24/7 distribution centre operation. You will be the on-site safety lead, working directly with operations and maintenance leaders to drive performance, strengthen risk systems and elevate safety ownership across the site.

It would suit someone ambitous who wants exposure, autonomy and the opportunity to prove themselves in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be confident, commercially aware and comfortable influencing leaders to sustain strong safety performance. The expectation is high performance, not maintenance mode.

Our client is a global leader in automated material handling and warehouse solutions, operating in high-performance logistics environments across the world. Their culture is action-oriented, engineering-driven and results-focused. Leaders expect accountability, pace and initiative. This is a business where strong operators stand out quickly and are recognised for impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and own all site safety activity in a high-volume DC.

  • Balance safety outcomes with operational delivery expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven HSEQ experience in high-risk operational environments (logistics, manufacturing, maintenance, industrial).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Strong investigation and root cause capability.
  • Experience improving or building safety systems.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a standalone role.
  • Cert IV minimum; tertiary qualification highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence.
The Benefits
  • High ownership, high visibility position.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership.
  • Career acceleration within a global organisation.
  • Fast-paced, performance-driven culture.
