Position
As the HSEQ Business Partner, you will be involved in providing strategic safety leadership, risk expertise, and operational support across a diverse portfolio of engineering and project-based operations. We are looking for someone who brings autonomy and experience working within a high-risk environment, across critical risks that can also build relationships with key stakeholders and a diverse workforce.
*This position has a national remit and will require someone who is willing to travel across multiple sites within Australia.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent.
- Preferable experience driving HSEQ within construction, engineering, mining, industrial services or similar high-risk industries.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders including senior leaders and a diverse workforce.
- Strong technical understanding of WHS legislation, risk management, and critical risk control frameworks.
- Competent in incident investigations, audits, safety systems, tender reviews and contractor management.
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused - be able to balance strategic and hands-on operational safety.
- Significant travel across NSW required but must be willing to also travel interstate.
