THE ROLE
HSE System Improvement and Reporting reports to the Manager HSE and sits within the Assurance division. This organisation is building its digital safety capability, using technology to identify and monitor critical controls across the business and capture real-time signals about whether those controls are available and effective. This role exists to own the data behind that work, improve the quality of it, and translate it into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders up to Board and Executive level. It is fundamentally a data role, and the core skill is the ability to read, interpret and understand HSE data and turn it into meaningful action for the business. The systems environment is well established and in good shape, but there are areas ripe for simplification, smarter governance and genuine transformation. The focus is on cutting through complexity, bringing a clearer narrative to leadership about where attention is needed, and continuously raising the bar on how HSE data is used across the business.
