This role sits within the HSE team, contributing to initiatives that generate social and economic value for NSW communities.
Position
The HSE Management Systems Coordinator
role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strong multitasking, prioritisation, and systems administration skills. It involves managing the “Safe Me” platform for incidents, inspections, and subcontractor vetting, along with coaching staff and tracking system submissions. The role supports half-weekly meetings and requires deep familiarity with internal platforms. Key responsibilities include organising and scheduling wellbeing programmes in collaboration with external partners, coordinating webinars and health-related talks, and ensuring timely delivery of activities. The role involves extensive engagement with internal stakeholders, including the communications, procurement, legal, and office management teams. Additional duties include supporting the HSE Committee and its operations, assigning and following up on tasks, and maintaining the internal HSE website in collaboration with the comms team.
Knowledge & Skills
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as an HSE professional.
- Cert IV in WHS.
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination of Safety Management Systems.
- Demonstrated collaborative approach, coaching and influence skills, gained leading through change within complex environments.
- Solid administration and communication skills, including presentation and training skills.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
