Position
As the HSE Coordinator you will be leading health and safety compliance at a single manufacturing site. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will work closely with Production and Operational teams to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of safety systems, ensuring legislative and ISO (14001, 45001, 9001) compliance to support high-risk operational activities.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role where you will be involved in leading risk assessments, oversee incident investigations (including ICAM), coordinate return-to-work processes while conducting training as well as audits, and strengthening safety management systems. You will play a key role in identifying gaps, simplifying processes and uplifting safety standards as the site continues to grow.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent with a minimum requirement of a Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS.
- 2–3+ years’ WHS experience in manufacturing, construction or heavy industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and a diverse blue-collar workforce.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation and safety systems.
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive mindset
- Confident communicator who can influence, drive accountability and support cultural change.
- Be present on-site 5 days a week with the flexibility to support both day and afternoon shifts.
