Position
As the HSE Business Partner, you will be involved in championing safety within a single site partnering with the business to uplift the capability and drive a proactive safety culture.
Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, this position will focus on embedding change while implementing progressive safety initiatives through relationship building across key stakeholders and operational teams.
We are looking for someone with a strategic and operational mindset who can drive HSE initiatives autonomously while working in a collaborative team. You must have strong communication and be able to adapt when engaging senior leaders and a blue-collar workforce.

Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required
- Previous experience working in a safety role, implementing systems and driving HSE strategies and risk reduction.
- A practical approach with knowledge of legislative requirements.
- Strong ability to influence through problem solving and decision-making.
- Demonstrated change management skills through the use of systems improvement and engaging with stakeholders.
- Preferable experience implementing HSE within high-risk or heavy manufacturing site.
- Knowledge or experience in return-to-work will be highly desirable.
- Must be comfortable in a stand-alone operational safety role.
- Ideally live in the North Shore or Northern Beaches area or be willing to relocate to the area. This is a site-based position with requirements to be on site 5 days a week.
