Position
As the HSE Advisor, you will be the primary health, safety and environmental resource for a single manufacturing site, partnering closely with operations, production and leadership teams to drive compliance, continuous improvement and a positive safety culture.
This role offers an excellent balance of operational safety and systems management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being on the workshop floor while also taking ownership of documentation, reporting, compliance and management systems.
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma highly regarded)
- 3-5 years' experience in an HSE role within manufacturing, heavy industry or a similarly high-risk environment
- Strong experience managing HSE management systems, documentation and compliance records
- Demonstrated ability to write and improve procedures, work instructions and safety documentation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to analyse safety data and identify trends
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Experience supporting or participating in ISO audits (highly regarded)
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders from the workshop floor through to senior leadership
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously
