Zenergy are partnering with this FM business to recruit for the H&S Manager position.
Position
The H&S Manager is responsible for minimising risk exposure for both the company and the client under the NSW contract. This role ensures the implementation of effective procedures, compliance with OHS&E standards, fulfilment of environmental and waste obligations, and adherence to established operational protocols. Acting as a senior advisor, the Risk Manager offers strategic guidance to staff, subcontractors, and clients to align service delivery with contractual and policy requirements. Reporting directly to the Contract Director, the position plays a key role in achieving KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining the relevance and application of the Contract Management Plan.
Knowledge & Skills
- Develop and implement business processes to support effective contract delivery.
- Oversee OHSE and compliance matters across the contract.
- Conduct risk and OHSE audits, reporting key findings to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance through thorough induction processes.
- Prepare regular risk, compliance, and performance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement through system and process enhancements.
- Guide industrial relations and legal compliance.
- Support team cohesion and maintain strong internal relationships.
- Step into Compliance Officer duties during absences as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality, OHSE, and risk management standards
- Experience working within local councils, government, housing corporations is a bonus.
