Position
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for driving and embedding a proactive safety culture across multiple operational sites throughout Central West and New England NSW. Based in Dubbo, this hands-on position supports a network of quarries and concrete plants, working closely with Site Managers and operational teams to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and industry best practices.
This role suits someone with a practical, field-based approach who enjoys being embedded in operations. You will play a key role in uplifting HSEQ capability within a complex, high-risk environment, working closely with both operational leaders and frontline teams. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential.

Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Ideal experience in WHS within quarrying, mining, concrete, transport or heavy industry (or strong operational background in these sectors)
- Sound knowledge of NSW WHS legislation, including mining regulations
- Experience supporting multiple or geographically dispersed sites to uplift HSEQ capability
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Practical understanding of heavy plant and equipment operations
- Strong administrative and systems capability and ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team
- Must have current NSW driver’s licence and be willing to travel regularly
