The Role

We’re seeking a Health & Safety Capital Program Partner to join our team on a 3-month contract based in Moorabbin, VIC . You’ll work closely with Capital Projects and Operations teams, providing expert safety guidance, coaching, and solutions that ensure compliance with Australian Standards, brand partner requirements, and internal protocols. Your focus will be enabling the safe design, commissioning, and operation of capital projects — supporting an unwavering goal of zero life-changing injuries .

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Health & Safety frameworks, tools, and reporting to drive change and governance.
  • Lead and coordinate HAZOP and risk assessments for new capital projects.
  • Identify hazards during project design and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Build Health & Safety capability across Capital Program teams through coaching and mentoring.
  • Benchmark and apply best-practice safety approaches in partnership with the Health & Safety Centre of Excellence.
  • Lead root cause analyses and collaborative problem-solving initiatives to improve safety outcomes.
  • Monitor and respond proactively to emerging regulatory and industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Safety, FMCG, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
  • Proven Health & Safety experience within capital projects, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on expertise with HAZOP methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and engage cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven success driving safety-focused cultural and process improvements.
