A rare opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Business Partner – Psychosocial Risk to join a large, fast-growing organisation operating across retail, warehousing, manufacturing, construction and property. This is a pivotal, hands-on role focused on the practical delivery of a psychosocial risk management strategy that has already been developed, ensuring it is effectively embedded across the business.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support implementation, provide coaching and training, and drive a culture of wellbeing and safety across a diverse network of stores, warehouses and subsidiary businesses.
Role Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and external consultancy to implement the existing psychosocial risk strategy and associated action plan.
- Review and refine documentation, tools, and resources from a practical perspective to ensure they are fit for purpose and easily applied across operations.
- Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and guidance to leaders, franchise owners, and frontline teams on psychosocial risk management and wellbeing.
- Collaborate on internal consulting activities, gap analysis follow-up, and capability uplift within the wider Safety and People teams.
- Monitor progress, provide reporting and insights to leadership, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Deliver training and awareness programs to build confidence and capability across the organisation.
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Business Partner or similar role with prior experience implementing psychosocial risk programmes.
- Strong understanding of psychosocial hazards, risk management frameworks, and related legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver psychosocial risk projects and programs (not just develop strategy) with a focus on practical, real-world application.
- Experience coaching leaders and teams to build awareness and capability in psychological health and wellbeing.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across a broad stakeholder group including franchise owners, executives and operational leaders.
- Highly organised, proactive and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment with competing priorities.
Thank you for your interest.
