Position
As the Health & Safety Business Partner, you will provide hands-on support to high-risk operations across Northern NSW, travelling regularly between multiple sites. This role suits someone with a practical, field-based approach who enjoys being embedded in operations. You will play a key role in uplifting HSEQ capability within a complex, high-risk environment, working closely with both operational leaders and frontline teams. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent with a minimum requirement of a Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS
- Proven experience driving WHS outcomes in high-risk industries such as heavy manufacturing, construction, engineering, mining, industrial services, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and a diverse workforce.
- Strong technical health and safety knowledge, combined with a practical, boots-on-the-ground approach.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with confidence engaging operational leaders and managers.
- Experience implementing WHS systems, risk management programs, and driving positive safety culture change.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across Northern NSW.
