This is one of Australia's largest and longest standing construction materials businesses, with operations covering quarrying, cement, concrete, asphalt, bitumen and recycling across the country. Safety here isn't a policy binder on a shelf, it's built into how leaders are expected to operate day to day, with a values framework that puts people ahead of production and a genuine track record of investing in the people who hold that line. This is a business where a safety professional gets heard in the room, not just consulted after the fact.
THE ROLE
This is a Health and Safety Business Partner position, reporting to the Head of Business Partnering Health and Safety, based in Tasmania with regular travel to South Australia. You will analyse incident and risk data to spot trends and get ahead of them, deliver HSE training and communications across your sites, and keep risk registers current in collaboration with key stakeholders.
There is also a piece supporting injury management, return to work and occupational hygiene activity alongside specialist teams, contributing a risk lens into capital and operational budget planning, and reporting progress to HSE and Operational Leadership.
