A nationally recognised healthcare provider, known for its commitment to patient care and safety excellence, is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Specialist.
Position
As the HSW Specialist, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Improvement Plan across two major healthcare sites.
Reporting to the national safety team and partnering closely with Hospital Executives and frontline leaders, you’ll champion a proactive and inclusive approach to safety. Your focus will include field-based engagement, systems improvement, coaching leadership teams, and embedding safety behaviours across the organisation.

Requirements
- Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or higher) – essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in WHS roles, ideally within complex or high-risk environments
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, systems, and incident investigation frameworks (e.g. ICAM)
- Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and engage with a range of stakeholders
- Healthcare experience and auditing qualifications highly regarded
- Driver's licence and full COVID-19 vaccination (as per policy)
- Full Australia working rights
- Location: Sydney - Eastern Suburbs (split-site)
- Type: Temporary with a view to go permanent
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Salary: $140,000–$145,000 package (inclusive of 12% super)
