Reporting to the Senior Advisor - Safety, Health and Emergency Response you will be required to provide leadership, advice, training and practical support for all health and safety aspects in an open-cut mining, underground mining, and ore processing operation. Assist in the development, implementation and review of health and safety strategies, systems, plans. Influence operational personnel to ensure best practice health and safety management outcomes.

You will require the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Workplace Health & Safety Diploma qualifications or higher
- Return to Work Certification (preferred)
- National competencies in Confined Space, Working Safely at Height and High-Risk Work licences advantageous
- Minimum 5 years WH&S experience in mining or relevant heavy industries
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and INX
- Competent in writing and reviewing management plans, procedures, work method statements and other WH&S related system documentation
- Previous experience in the development and implementation of HSE procedures and standards
- The ability to conduct and participating in audits
- Training, and competence in conducting effective ICAM investigations
- Previous experience in the implementation and application of Risk Management Processes’
- Experience in return-to-work coordination
