This senior leadership role will report directly to the director and is responsible for overseeing the safety function across a complex national footprint, including manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations.

You will play a critical role in driving the safety culture, leading national initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all legislative and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the national safety function across multiple operational sites
• Develop and execute strategic safety plans aligned with business goals
• Influence senior leaders and frontline teams to embed a culture of safety excellence
• Provide subject matter expertise on WHS legislation, systems, and risk frameworks
• Lead incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Mentor and guide regional HSE leaders to uplift capability and engagement

• Proven experience in a senior HSE leadership role within FMCG, manufacturing, or a high-risk operational environment
• In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, safety management systems, and behavioural safety programs
• A strategic mindset with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation
• Experience leading cultural change initiatives across large, multi-site operations
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or related discipline
