The Role: WHS Adviser
The EHS Officer is responsible for managing the development and implementation of risk-based work health and safety systems policies, practices and services across the project. The Social Procurement Officer has the responsibility to provide direct support to the Project Manager in implementing the projects Social Procurement Commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance with WHS Management Plan
- Safety management reporting
- Monitor subcontractor safety records and results
- Provide ongoing guidance and advise to employees, support safety targets and objectives
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with site specific SWMS
- Environmental Management, monitor projects environmental management plan and maintain environmental documentation
- System Administration
- Incident investigation, management and reporting
- Safety Training
- Collaboration and continuous improvement
You are a tertiary-qualified EHS professional with extensive experience in environment, health and safety, specifically within the civil construction industry. Your ability to build strong working relationships, influence key stakeholders, and high safety standards will be critical to your success in this role.

- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
