Originally from The Mid North Coast in New South Wales, Dean was one of the founding partners of Zenergy in 2006 and is currently Managing Director, responsible for Zenergy’s Australasian operations.

Prior to founding Zenergy, Dean’s background was in operations, holding leadership positions with global organisations. Growing up in a family farm environment, Dean was highly safety conscious and always entrepreneurial by nature. While in industry leadership positions, he identified a gap in the recruitment market and founded Zenergy. Initially focusing on the workers compensation and insurance markets, soon after, the organisation grew to also encompass search and recruitment services in Safety Health & Wellbeing.

For the past 15 years, Dean has advised organisations, steering committees, law firms, boards, executives and the wider Safety Health & Wellbeing community on better practice safety health and wellbeing knowledge, advisory, strategy and thought leadership.

Under Dean’s guidance, Zenergy has grown to become the preeminent Safety Health & Wellbeing search and Professional Services organisation in the Australian market.
