THE ROLE
HSEQ Advisor, reporting into the project management team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne. The role sits across multiple concurrent construction projects, requiring someone comfortable managing competing priorities across different sites and project phases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing HSEQ advisory support across multiple active construction projects
- Conducting site inspections, audits and hazard identification
- Supporting incident investigation, reporting and corrective action closeout
- Maintaining and monitoring compliance with HSEQ management systems and legislative requirements
- Preparing and reviewing safe work method statements, risk assessments and project HSEQ plans
- Engaging with project teams, subcontractors and site supervisors on safety matters
- Contributing to continuous improvement of HSEQ processes and documentation
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a dedicated safety advisor role
- Construction industry background, essential
- Cert IV in WHS or above (Diploma preferred)
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation and WHS management systems
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage at all levels of a project team
